What is physical appearance in nonverbal communication

Before starting physical appearance we have to understand about nonverbal communication. Actually communication without words called non-verbal communication & physical appearance is one of the most important part of this theory. Many time we do not speak but we put a message like you shake your head in different mode this is part of this theory called physical appearance and communication with these expressions. 

Physical appearance is important type of nonverbal communication. An individual with form a first impression from a latter’s envelope, stationery, letterhead, color and size. The format, neatness, and language of a written message send a nonverbal message to the reader.


Your written application letter and resume are judged by their appearance and correctness, perhaps beyond your other qualifications for employment. Your appearance and actions during an employment interview are likely to be far more important than your words.

If the individual is going to lunch or dinner at an elegant restaurant, most people would perceive the person to be wealthy and successful. If the individual is washing a car or moving a lawn, may people would perceive the person to be lack common sense.
