A School Admin Officer plays a key role in the administration of the school and in applications and supervision of financial affairs. He plays a supportive role in enable the academic and associated activities. In this regard, he keeps himself in view of total coordination and harmony to arrange the day to day affairs. He is responsible for the effective admin affairs to the Principal.

Security and Safety.  He is responsible to ensure the security of all the personnel, buildings, orchards/trees/plants and all sorts of material available on the campus. He is required to formulate a comprehensive security plan with the assistance of the principal to ensure its effective execution.

v  He will also calculate time to time all sorts of stores / equipment required for the security of the campus he arrange all procurement and ensure its justifiable use and its storage maintenance.

v  Security matters of entire campus watch and ward.

v  He is to issue passes and identity cards to all categories of staff.

v  To look after the welfare of the cadres of staff living on the campus.

v  The Estate.  The Admin Officer is overall responsible of the Estate of school. His duty is to draw out and administer a comprehensive plan for management the estate keep the plan in review, determine the responsibilities for various assistants and subordinates and delegate duties and authorities as he deems fit.

v  Maintenance of the school buildings and furniture and fittings, resident engineers assists him in certain cases if so required.

v  Allotment of accommodation of academic and administrative staff is made according to a specific plan prepared by him in consultation with the Principal.

v  Supervises minor and major maintenance work as required from time to time.
v  Keeps record of accommodation, occupation and vacation of teaching and non-teaching staff.

v  Performance of any other duties allocated by the Principal from time to time.
v  To formulate Standing Operating procedures (SOPs) for the different administrative jobs.

v  Maintain the record of joiners and leavers.

v  To conclude local services contracts and examine their economical administration in consultation with the Principal

v  Ensure smooth functioning of service like electricity, water gas and telephone.

v  Serve the Protocol officer and provide support for all school functions and activities.
