Subject:                       Status of the Chenab Bridge Project

The Chenab Bridge project, which began on 9 May, 2007, is nearing completion. The September 15 deadline should be meeting if the supplies arrive within two weeks.

Mujtabe Ali contractor has assured me the following supplies will be delivered by August 21:

• 1.      Angle Iron 14” X 2” X2” X 20” feet                 = 150 length.
• 2.      Nuts & bolts size ¾  X 1 ½                               = 300 Numbers

Kharat ali at batala Electronic Stor informed me that the following items were shipped on May 16 and should arrive today or tomorrow

• 1.      3/29 wire Pakistan Cable                                = 50 coiles
• 2.      Mercury bulb 220 volts                                               =100 numbers
• 3.      Main circuit breaker 20 amperes                  =1 number.
