The world has shrunk. A few decades ago, the world was a big place
and what happened in one part of the world took months or every year to reach
other parts of the world- if at all.
At that time, each country was warped up in itself. Each believed
its own culture to be the best and few exposed at all, it was usually for short
periods of time and not enough to influence them.
However in such cases it is probably an attempt to protect the
local television stations rather that to keep it goring culture. Anyway,
transmissions from nearby countries can’t be stopped.
When we look in one way, we sec that it is a good thing that the
countries for the world now find it so easy to learn about each other. Their
learning will promote greater understanding of and appreciation for each
other’s countries.
“Since we are destined to live out our lives in the prison of our
minds, it is our duty to furnish it well.”
We seldom realize for example that our most private thoughts and emotions
are not actually our own. For we think in terms of languages and images which
we did not invent, but which were given to us by our society.
“The preservation of our culture is very important.”

·
Speak your ancestral
language
·
If you know someone who
shares your culture but has a different native tongue than yourself ask him to
teach you. Many linguists argue that languages shape our whole perception of
the world.
Spend time with
other members of community
The best way to preserve our
culture is to keep it alive. The cultural fixation on female thinness is not an
obsession about female beauty but an obsession about female obedience”
“Everyone thinks of changing
the world, but no one thinks of changing himself”
Life does not get better by
